CSA names Dafabet as official event partner for Proteas home summer fixtures
Cricket South Africa has named Dafabet as the official event partner for the Proteas men's team home summer fixtures.

Gaming operator Dafabet has been named as the Official Event Partner by Cricket South Africa (CSA) for the Proteas Men’s home Test and One-Day International (ODI) fixtures for the upcoming international season.
The expanded agreement will build on the current relationship between CSA and Dafabet as the gaming operator will secure increased visibility across South Africa’s home summer schedule, including marquee series against Australia, Bangladesh and England from September to January.
As part of the agreement, Dafabet’s branding will be visible across eight Test matches and a three-match ODI series involving each touring nation, providing the company exposure through branding, fan engagement initiatives, and digital activations.
The sponsorship deal with Dafabet further boosts CSA’s commercial portfolio as the governing body continues to utilise the growing popularity of the Proteas brand. In the last decade, South African cricket has enjoyed success on the international level, attracting interest from sponsors seeking to align with the Proteas.
CSA Chief Executive Officer, Pholetsi Moseki, expressed pride over their partnership with Dafabet as the event sponsor for the Proteas Men’s home summer, expected to be a packed and exciting season of cricket.
South Africa’s men’s team finished the last two ICC tournaments, the ICC T20I World Cup 2026 and ICC Champions Trophy 2025, as semi-finalists, whereas the women’s team finished as runners-up at the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.
Sportscape views the CSA's move to extend its partnership with Dafabet as a strategic move to boost its commercial portfolio. For the gaming operator company, the move provides an opportunity to reach a global audience.
