Hong Kong Jockey Club has partnered with Lenovo to launch "Racing with football" campaign for FIFA World Cup 2026.

The Hong Kong Jockey Club has launched a campaign titled Home of Football as the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off today. The initiative has been launched to promote sports entertainment and fan participation across the Jockey Club’s flagship racing and entertainment platforms, including the hugely popular Happy Wednesday series at Happy Valley Racecourse.
Blending racing culture with global football
This latest initiative aims to broaden the Jockey Club's reach as an international sports entertainment business, placing Hong Kong as a developing hub for global exchange, connectivity, and tourism. As part of this collaboration with the Jockey Club, Lenovo will also present the Lenovo Experience Booth, an AI-powered football zone highlighting the growing role of technology in transforming sports performance, event operations, and fan experience, in accordance with the tech company’s role at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Reflecting on the cultural roots of horse racing in Hong Kong, Casper Stylsvig, the Club’s Executive Director, Sports Business, said the sport is gradually finding success on the global stage and adding to increased tourism in the region. Casper emphasized the rolling out of the “Racing with Football” campaign with Lenovo will bring fans of the two iconic sports together.
The Jockey Club will also make effective use of social media platforms, collaborating with opinion leaders and social media creators to produce exclusive content around the culture and passion around the two sports and host cities. The exclusive content will be shared across the club's social media platforms, in off-course betting branches, and on MTR in-train TVs throughout the FIFA World Cup 2026.
