The amount given by the CM will be tapped into installing new goalposts, enhancing the quality of the field, and also for ensuring the safety check, alongside inviting the youth to feel the adrenaline and team spirit on the field. The Deputy CM himself emphasized the unwavering dedication of members of the sports club.
“ I am encouraged by the dedication of the Sports Club and their commitment to promoting sports at the grassroots level. Supporting youth and sports development remains a priority for me, and I will continue to work closely with local communities to strengthen facilities that nurture talent and healthy competition.”
An upward trajectory in the sports development has left the members with ecstatic joy, whereby extreme gratitude has been shown openly for Dhar.
“This initiative comes at the right time, reflecting his commitment to promoting sports and youth development in the area,” they said.
The Rising Growth of Sports Development in Meghalaya
As the canvas of success for the 39th National Games is being painted finely in Meghalaya, other villages of the near regions are expanding their infrastructure further. By the year 2028, there will be a rise of about 500+ operational sites developed, such as the Tennis and Aquatic complex in Umsawli and Maokanu Football Stadium, giving place to 40 Thousand people.
The move by Dhar is just another value addition to increase the pace of development even in the remotest villages of Meghalaya.
