Volleyball World extends Vodafone Türkiye partnership for Women’s VNL in Ankara
Ahead of the 2026 season, Volleyball World has extended sponsorship deal with Vodafone Türkiye.

FIVB governing body’s commercial arm, the Volleyball World, has extended its association with Vodafone Türkiye, the regional body of the multinational telecommunication company, for the Women’s Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
As part of the agreement, the telecommunication brand will serve as an official partner of the competition’s stop in the nation for the third consecutive year. Türkiye's capital city, Ankara, will host this year's VNL.
VNL’s association with Vodafone began in 2024 when the telecommunication company’s 5G network was utilised to provide live match statistics for the tournament. Over the last three years, the collaboration has deepened to curate a number of technology-driven projects to enhance fan experience.
In the upcoming season, Volleyball World and Vodafone are expected to launch a new fan engagement initiative at Ankara’s Women’s VNL, incorporating 5G technology. Vodafone’s 5G infrastructure has enabled a number of technical innovations during the Women’s VNL games in Turkey, including broadcasting, real-time data update and use of Bolt6 challenge systems in the arena.
Talking about the extension of deal with Vodafone, Oliver Clarke, chief partnerships officer at Volleyball World, said, “Over the past three years, Vodafone has been an exceptional partner in helping us explore how technology can enhance the volleyball experience for fans around the world.
Sportscape believes the extension of the deal between Volleyball World and Vodafone Türkiye highlights the growing influence of technology in modern sports. The integration of 5G-driven innovation will enhance fan engagement and also the overall elevation of digital infrastructure.
