Bangladesh is hosting the Australia vs Bangladesh ODI series as well as the T20I series in Dhaka and Chattogram respectively. The ODI has started today. And the T20I is going to start on the 17th of June. The one-day international is taking place at Dhaka whereas the T20 is already decided to be settled in Chattogram, Bangladesh.

Bangladesh got to bat in the first innings and made 284 runs out of 8 wickets in the 50 overs. The Aussie captain decides to bowl after winning the toss. Tanzid Hasan and Shanto had delivered a fruitful partnership. Where Tanzid Hasan scored 54 runs but ended up returning to the dugout before Nathan Ellis's bowling. Although Shanto kept the pace with another half century and a total of 67 runs on their home ground.
On the other hand, Aussie bowler Liam Scott, who's playing his debut match became a crucial part of the match as he picked two wickets including the Bangladeshi Skipper. And concluded the innings with the wicket of Taskin Ahmed. Nathan Ellis picked three wickets alone and made the match thrilling when Mat Reneshaw also helped them add two more wickets to their side.
In the later part of the first innings Bangladeshi captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz came to the rescue tried his best and Mosaddak Hossain scored a ravishing 86 runs. That helped Bangladesh to achieve a total score of 284.
Sportscape thinks that, although this is the very first match of the tournament, the host seems to have a stronger batting lineup whereas the Aussies have the bowling lineup in hand.
