Ahead of the second half of the NSWL season, Chicago Stars have appointed Kate Cohen as their interim technical consultant.

Moving ahead from Richard Fuez’s sacking, the Chicago Stars have made a new addition to their front office. The team has announced the hiring of Kate Cohen as their interim technical consultant.
Chicago Stars FC President Karen Leetzow hailed Kate for her vast knowledge and analytical experience, adding depth to their sporting staff during this crucial point in the season. He further added that Kate has made significant contributions at every stage of her career through her expertise in scouting and talent identification. The team will look forward to the impact she can create for the club and roster as they head into the second half of the NSWL season, he mentioned.
On her appointment as the interim technical consultant, Kate expressed gratitude towards the Chicago Stars as she looks forward to the second half of the season.
Cohen’s scouting experience includes six years with Football Australia for the Young Matildas, the Australian Women’s National Team and the Men’s National Team. She has also previously served as Opposition Analyst for the USWNT before she was promoted to Lead Analyst. Recently, she was associated with Kansas City Current (NWSL) as Head of Scouting and Analytics.
