“We can think of no better city…”: Says The Lavers Cup CEO On Hosting The Tournament In LA
The city of Los Angeles will host the next edition of the Laver Cup from Sept 24-26, 2027.

The Lavers Cup, a popular tennis tournament, will be held in the city of Los Angeles from 24-26 September 2027 as a part of the ATP tour calendar. The tournament began in 2017 and has been held every year in September since then. The previous edition was hosted by San Francisco in 2025, and this year the event will be held in London. The sporting event is played between two teams, Team Europe vs Team World. The hosting alternates between the teams. Team World claimed the last title, scoring 15-9, against Team Europe.
Intuit Dome, present in the suburbs of Inglewood, hosted the NBA’s crucial games in February this year and will be a destination for the 2028 Olympics’ basketball games. The dome is considered the home to the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. The US has hosted the tournament 3 times in the venues of San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago.
The CEO of Lavers Cup, Steve Zacks, said, “Los Angeles is one of the world’s leading destinations for major sporting events.” He further added on hosting the Laver Cup in LA, “We can think of no better city and venue to host the 10th edition of the Laver Cup.”
There will be four players on each team. Team World will be led by Andre Agassi; the players on the team are Ben Shelton, Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz, and Alexander Bublik. Team Europe will have Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, Flavio Cabolli, Jacub Mensik, and their team leader, Yannick Noah. Europe has the win lead of 5-3 against the “World” in the all-time Laver Cup tournaments.
Sportscapefeels that the Laver Cup Los Angeles 2027 will be full of excitement. Team World vs Team Europe looks like a powerful contest. Team Europe will look forward to winning the tennis tournament, and Team World will want to reclaim its victory.
