Nepal Cricket Team Stuns Cricket World, Becomes First Nation Ever to Score 300 Runs Twice in T20Is
Nepal created history by scoring 313/2 against China in the Asian Games T20I Qualifier

The Nepal Cricket Team has made a new record in international cricket after becoming the very first country to score 300+ runs twice. During the Asian Games Men T20I Qualifier, Nepal Cricket Team played against the China cricket team and made 313 runs out of only 2 wickets in 20 overs.
Formerly, Nepal was the very first country to achieve this milestone of crossing 300 runs against Mongolia in a match that occurred in 2023. That time they had scored 314/3. Later, Zimbabwe and England also enlisted their names on the list. And this time Nepal repeated their own history.
Nepal chose to bat first and disrupted the entire Chinese bowling lineup. Opening batsman Kushal Bhurtel hit a century with six sixes hitting consecutively in an over. Later, the captain of the team Rohit Paudel kept the momentum going in the middle part of the match.
The Nepal Cricket Team had a really strong batting lineup and the China cricket team was unable to cope with them. In the first innings of the match, there were plenty of boundaries and over boundaries.
This height of achievement is really special as the well-known international teams like India, Australia and South Africa have never scored 300 or more runs in a T20 International match twice. The Nepal Cricket Team is the only team that has done this. Thus, they've created history.
Sportscape, observes this remarkable performance of Team Nepal in the Asian Games Men's T20I qualifier as a rise of new possibilities in the realm of international cricket.
