Real Madrid locks Emirates as official sponsor till 2031, extends sponsorship to basketball division
Real Madrid has signed Dubai-based airlines Emirates as its official sponsor till 2031.

In a recent development, renowned football franchise Real Madrid has renewed its partnership with the world's top airline, Emirates. Under the renewed contract, the Dubai-based airline will remain the club’s official sponsor and also the official airline till 2031
The collaboration that began in 2011 turned out to be one of the most iconic sponsorships in football history. Emirates has remained the team’s premier sponsor during its golden period. The airline has served as Real Madrid’s main shirt sponsor since 2013, including branding across the men's first team kit during a period that saw the rise of domestic dominance by the club with several victorious UEFA Champions League campaigns.
Beginning of a multi-sport agreement between Real Madrid and Emirates
The Real Madrid club has once again entrusted Emirates as their official main sponsor and official airline for the franchise’s men’s and women’s teams for the next five years. Real Madrid’s matchday kits, training kits, and coaching staff kits will have the airline’s branding. Under the new contract, Emirates will also sponsor Real Madrid’s youth development structure.
Through a multi-year agreement valid till 2031, Emirates has secured naming rights as the official sponsor of Real Madrid’s football division, expanding the alliance between the two giants of their respective industries. This deal is expected to broaden the airline’s footprint in Europe and the football industry.
Commenting on the renewal of partnership with Real Madrid, Boutros Boutros, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Brand at Emirates Airline, said, "Emirates has a long history of supporting football, connecting with millions of people, and bringing communities together through our shared passion for the sport. What we’ve built alongside Real Madrid is a shining example of that commitment.”
Real Madrid’s president, Florentino Pérez also reflected on their collaboration with Emirates as he called the agreement a very special relationship they have built over the years. He reaffirmed, “We have been and continue to be together during one of the most successful periods in our history.”
