Turkish Airlines Expands Global Golf Investment with Landmark England Golf Deal
Turkish Airlines strengthens its global golf investment through a major England Golf deal focused on elite travel, tournaments, and international growth.

Turkish Airlines has intensified its global golf investment strategy after signing a major three-year England Golf deal that positions the airline at the centre of amateur golf development, international tournament travel, and elite event sponsorship. The agreement names Turkish Airlines as the Official Airline Partner of England Golf while also making the carrier the headline sponsor of the prestigious Brabazon Trophy championship.
The partnership marks another significant move in Turkish Airlines’ expanding sports sponsorship portfolio as the airline continues strengthening its presence across international golf properties. The England Golf deal will support travel logistics for national performance squads, coaches, and staff competing in overseas tournaments and training camps, providing greater international exposure for emerging golfers.
As part of the collaboration, Turkish Airlines branding will feature across England Golf championships, digital platforms, events, and membership engagement initiatives. England Golf members and iGolf subscribers are also expected to receive exclusive travel-related benefits and promotional experiences linked to the partnership.
The move further strengthens Turkish Airlines’ long-term commitment to global golf investment. The airline recently renewed its title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines Open on the DP World Tour and continues to expand the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, one of the world’s largest corporate amateur golf tournaments.
England Golf CEO Jeremy Tomlinson described the partnership as a “landmark agreement” that would help strengthen player pathways and elevate golf participation across multiple levels of the sport. Turkish Airlines General Manager Serhat Gök added that the collaboration aligns with the airline’s broader objective of connecting athletes and sporting communities through its international network.
The agreement also reflects the increasing commercialisation of golf as governing bodies and brands invest heavily in international visibility, sports tourism, and athlete development. With golf attracting stronger global sponsorship interest following renewed investment across the DP World Tour and amateur circuits, airlines and multinational brands are positioning the sport as a key platform for premium global engagement.
Sportscape feels that Turkish Airlines is strategically positioning golf as a long-term global branding platform by integrating sports tourism, premium travel, and elite amateur development into one commercial ecosystem.
