The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has finally addressed the matter as it kept on getting worse. Devajit Saikia the BCCI president has clarified that the board does not take direct intervention in these matters. So the actions solely depend upon the observation and report by the match referee and officials. According to the secretary, on-field incidents are mostly looked at by the officials and the board does not have much to do about such things.
Although the board has requested the players to remain invested truly in their games and ignore other factors apart from that. This statement has clarified the board's take on the incident as well as on discipline.
