The Indian women’s hockey team has won the FIH Women’s Nations Cup against the defending champions, New Zealand, with a grueling score of 2-0. The team remained undefeated throughout the tournament and finished at the top of the table. Having won the first edition of the FIH Women’s Nations Cup 2022, India’s second title came in the final against the hosts, New Zealand, on the grounds of North Harbour National Hockey Centre, Auckland. To felicitate the team for their achievements, Hockey India has announced the cash prize of INR 3 Lakhs for each player and INR 1.5 Lakhs for each support staff.
