JSW Sports and IIS partner Feldspar to build Asia's first high-performance centre with smart tracking technology
JSW Sports and IIS have joined hands with UK-based Feldspar Sports to build Asia's first high-performance smart track

In a recent expansion, JSW Sports and the Inspire Institute of Sport (IIS) have announced a partnership with UK-based sports technology company Feldspar Group Holdings Limited , with a view to transforming athlete performance monitoring and sports science facilities in India.
As part of the deal, IIS will become Asia’s first high-performance sporting institution to deploy Feldspar’s sensor-embedded Smart Surface technology. This will bring laboratory-grade biomechanical analysis into the daily sports training ecosystem.
Initially, a 45-metre Smart Surface Track will be installed at the IIS High Performance Centre in Karnataka. The smart track is embedded with sensors and is capable of fetching real-time athlete performance data. Availability of real-time statistics will help coaches and athletes to make informed decisions and prevent injuries.
