Stupa Sports to introduce Advanced Decision Review System in Rugby Premier League Season 2
Stupa Sports has been appointed to deploy the advanced decision review system for the upcoming Rugby Premier League 2026.

Stupa Sports, the world’s leading AI-powered sports technology and analytics firm, has been appointed to provide the Advanced Decision Review System (ADRS) for the second edition of the Rugby Premier League (RPL). Set to be hosted at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad from June 16 to June 28, 2026, the rugby tournament will see the participation of the best rugby players across the country.
As per the deal, Stupa Sports will equip its advanced, operator-led video review to provide assistance to match officials and medical staff during the tournament. The advanced review system uses multiple camera angle feeds with frame-by-frame replay, slow-motion analysis, and a zoom option. This system will help officials make faster and more accurate decision on-field.
The collaboration deal with the Rugby Premier League comes at a crucial time as Stupa Sports continues to diversify its influence from racquet sports like badminton and tennis to rugby. Stupa Sports excels in providing certified monitoring and analytics solutions in high-speed racquet sports, and its entry into a complex sport like rugby reflects the scalability of its AI-driven technology.
Expressing gratitude, Megha Gambhir, CEO and Co-Founder of Stupa Sports, said, “We are delighted to announce our partnership with the Rugby Premier League for Season 2. It represents an exciting step forward for us.”
Sportscape views this partnership between Stupa Sports and the Rugby Premier League 2026 as an important step towards improving officiating standards in Indian rugby. The introduction of ADRS can help ensure faster and more accurate decisions, enhancing the overall outcomes of the game.
