Minnesota Wild switch to SeatGeek in new ticketing partnership
NHL Franchise Minnesota Wild have signed multi-year deal with ticketing partner SeatGeek.

The Minnesota Wild have appointed SeatGeek as their primary ticketing partner, becoming the third NHL franchise, after the Panthers and the Mammoth, to choose the company for their ticketing business. As part of the multi-year deal, SeatGeek will enjoy Wild hockey games along with live entertainment programming at Grand Casino Arena, Roy Wilkins Auditorium and Saint Paul RiverCentre.
In the past three months, the ticketing company has secured deals with the Chicago Fire for their upcoming venue, set to open in 2028. The company has also partnered with Beemok Sports & Entertainment, giving them the inventory for the Cincinnati Open and the Credits One Charleston Open. Ticketmaster, previously managed ticketing process for these organisations.
Minnesota Wilds will benefit from SeatGeek’s Game Day Your Way product, a fan experience platform to help clients understand fan tendencies. The SeatGeek IQ, as a data intelligence layer will provide price modeling to the hockey team. Russ D’Souza, SeatGeek’s president of supply, said he continues to see teams moving toward a tech-first mindset to help power growth and revenue goals.
Sportscape views the Minnesota Wild’s multi-year deal with SeatGeek as their primary ticketing partner as a growing shift among sports teams toward smarter, tech-led ticketing solutions that go beyond simple seat sales. However, with established players like Ticketmaster still dominating the space, the real impact will depend on how effectively SeatGeek’s tools translate into better pricing, accessibility, and overall fan satisfaction.
