Indian cricket's wonder teen, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, revealed the emotions he felt right after receiving his first India jersey. In a video shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on social media, the 15-year-old batter, who has become the new sensation of Indian cricket nowadays, has reflected on one of the biggest achievements of his newly emerging cricket career. Suryavanshi, who is emerging as one of the brightest youngsters in Indian cricket, expressed that wearing the national jersey was indeed a dream-come-true moment for him. This incident is explicitly very heartwarming for anyone who has a dream to represent the nation in the domain of cricket. Therefore, the youngster has also said that the moment was so special that he was not even able to process it immediately.

"Words cannot explain it. The reason I picked up the bat from day one and went to the cricket Ground for practice. Today that dream was fulfilled. The biggest step in the journey was completed today. I cannot put this feeling in words. I just feel it like a dream when I saw that T-shirt. I couldn’t stop smiling. Sometimes, something happens that you never even imagined could happen, and when it finally does, you don’t know how to react. That was exactly how I felt," Suryavanshi said.

Vaibhav’s rise has been the talk of the nation since the IPL 2026. His performance in the latest franchise League cricket has left every cricket fan awestruck. Amongst all the other experienced players, Vaibhav owns the Orange cap, smashing 776 runs this season. Along with that, he got a much-anticipated call from the national-level selectors right after the tournament for the tri-series against Sri Lanka A and Afghanistan A.
