Desperation in Toronto! Croatia and Panama Clash in a Do-or-Die Encounter

There is no room left for error for either Croatia or Panama. Although there have been some talks that have erroneously grouped them in Group I, the two countries are actually pitted against each other in Group L, where they find themselves in a desperate struggle for survival in Matchday 2 at Toronto Stadium.

Both sides were defeated in their first game of the FIFA 2026 World Cup.
